1Using Astra

By adding Astra to a server or using its commands, you agree to these terms and to Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines. If you don't agree, don't use Astra. Astra is run by the Astra team and is not made by or affiliated with Discord. You need to be old enough to use Discord in your country, and to have permission to manage any server you add Astra to. If you are under the age to agree to a contract where you live, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms for you.

2Server admins

Admins choose which features run and how, including moderation, filters and logging. You are responsible for how Astra is used in your server, for telling your members which features run, for your staff's moderation decisions, for any history you import into Astra, and for following the laws that apply to your community. Automatic filters can be wrong, so review what they do.

3Moderation

Moderation in a server is decided by its staff, with Astra's help. If Astra acted on you by mistake, ask that server's staff to review it. Each server's staff are responsible for its moderation decisions.

4Fair use

  • Don't use Astra to harass, spam, raid or break Discord's rules or the law.
  • Don't use Astra to share sexual content involving minors, or adult content outside age-restricted channels.
  • Don't use Astra to collect or expose other people's information, or to get around a server's moderation.
  • Don't scrape Astra or automate access to it.
  • Don't exploit bugs (report them instead), or use scripts, self-bots or alt accounts to farm levels, currency or rewards.
  • Don't try to reach other servers' data or settings, overload Astra, or interfere with it or its users.
  • Don't trade Astra's virtual currency or items for real money, Nitro or anything else outside Astra.

5Your content

What you post stays yours, and you are responsible for it, including anything you set up in Astra such as custom commands, messages and forms. You let Astra process and display it as needed to run its features. The Privacy Policy explains what is kept.

6Astra itself

Astra's code, name, art and text belong to the Astra team. You may use Astra as it is offered, but don't copy, resell or reverse engineer it.

7Virtual items

Levels, coins and items are for fun. They are licensed to you, not owned, have no real-world value, cannot be cashed out, and may be changed or reset at any time. Anything gained by breaking these terms can be removed.

8Giveaways

Giveaway prizes come from the server running the giveaway. We don't deliver or guarantee them.

9Paid features

Some features may cost money in the future. If they do, what you get and any extra terms will be shown before you pay.

10No guarantees

Astra is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind. Features may change or stop and data may be lost. Astra relies on Discord and other services we don't control, and we are not responsible for them.

11Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or any loss arising from using or being unable to use Astra, including actions Astra takes on a server's settings. Our total liability is limited to the greater of what you paid us for Astra in the 12 months before the claim, or 100 US dollars.

12Covering our costs

If a claim is brought against us because of how you used Astra, or set it up in a server you manage, or because you broke these terms, you agree to cover the costs it causes us, as far as the law allows.

13Ending access

You can stop using Astra at any time, and admins can remove it from their server. We may block any user or server, or change or discontinue Astra, at any time, including to protect other users.

14Reporting problems

Report misuse of Astra in our support server. We review every report. If something shown through Astra infringes your rights, tell us there and we'll look into it.

15General

  • We decide whether these terms were broken.
  • Disputes between members, or between a server and its members, are theirs to settle.
  • We aren't responsible for delays or failures caused by things outside our reasonable control.
  • If you send us ideas, we can use them without owing you anything.
  • These terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about Astra.
  • The sections on your content, virtual items, liability and covering our costs, and this section, still apply after you stop using Astra.
  • These protections also cover each person who builds or runs Astra.
  • If any part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies. If we don't enforce a term straight away, we can still enforce it later.
  • Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under laws that can't be changed by agreement.

16Changes and contact

We may update these terms, and we'll announce important changes in our support server. Using Astra after a change means you accept it. Questions go to our support server.
